Hi there, and thanks very much for dropping into my website you are most welcome. I am a full time Wildlife Photographer, based in North Wales close by to the beauty and ruggedness of the Welsh Coast and Snowdonia. Since an early age I have had a complete passion for the outdoors and Wildlife, I am also accomplished mountaineer but whatever I do and wherever I go the camera always comes with me. I now travel far and wide to photograph Wildlife to many of my favourite places both in the UK and further afield, I adore Snowdonia from the rugged mountains down to the beautiful coastline and I have a real passion for Scotland, in particular The Cairngorms and the Western Isles, especially Mull.

Although I enjoy photographing all wildlife subjects my passion is birds, especially raptors, Ospreys being my absolute favourite bird.

When not out with the camera taking my own images, I deliver Workshops throughout many locations in the UK and abroad and also Presentations to Camera clubs, Nature Societies, and many other Groups.

For all my Photography I use Nikon cameras and lenses, the D5 being my main body and also a D850, and is coupled up with 500mm and 300mm lenses. I have always used Nikon and have consistently been blown away by the quality, consistency and fantastic optical performance. When I am out and about the kit is packed away in Lowepro bags, at the moment I use the Pro Trekker 600 and the Whistler bags. Clothing is an essential part of a Wildlife Photographers make up, for most of my work I use Paramo and RAB gear, superb clothing that is rustle free and works extremely well to keep me warm and dry. And probably more important is what goes on my feet, since discovering Muck Boots I have not once suffered with cold or wet feet… trust me there is nothing worse than having cold wet feet, this range of boots are just the job. I work in Partnership with The Muck Boot Company to promote this fantastic footwear, just visit the  MUCK BOOT COMPANY WEBSITE
