Cheshire Estate Parkland
Come along and join Gary to photograph one of the highlights of the Wildlife Calendar, the Red Deer Rut, set in fantastic Cheshire Estate Parkland.
Meet up time is at 7.30am to be in the Park just after sunrise for those early morning misty, atmospheric shots, and we will then spend the morning wandering the park photographing the Red Deer, plus the Fallow Deer that also roam in the Park.
The Workshop is ideal for beginners or enthusiastic enthusiasts wanting to add quality images to their portfolio. Gary will guide you throughout the visit getting you into the best positions for your images, and assisting with advice on settings, technique etc.
Mid morning we will break for an excellent hearty breakfast in the Cafe on the Estate, all included in the cost, and then we will continue into the early afternoon when we will finish at about 1pm.
What you will need…
Digital SLR Camera or Bridge camera with a focal distance of 200-500mm. Zoom lenses such as 70-200mm, 100-400, 150-500 etc will also be ideal.If you are bringing larges lenses such as 500, 600mm prime lenses then a tripod is recommended . Sufficient memory cards and fully charged batteries.
Clothing and footwear must be suitable for wandering around the park and dark or muted in colour, waterproof and windproof would be ideal, and comfortable waterproof footwear, the Deer herds are constantly on the move so much of the day will be spent on foot following.
