Scotland Osprey plus Pine Marten Workshops

For the Osprey photography we will be using the outstanding hides owned by Gordon McLeod for 4 morning session, at his small Lochan in Aviemore. This is THE prime location in the UK for photographing diving Ospreys, these trips have been organized in May, a time when the weather is historically more settled and the birds are fresh back from migration and settling to breed, and  July when the young Ospreys are starting to leave the nests and visiting the Lochan with their parents to fish.

To photograph the Ospreys you will need a camera with a decent frame rate, and a lens in the order of 300-500mm plus tripod, but advice can be given on suitable equipment.

Also, for an afternoon/evening we will be visiting a private hide in Moray, where you will have the potential opportunity to photograph many species such as Pine Marten, Red Squirrel, Badger, Sparrowhawk and more.
